✅This application aims to perform accurate calculations of blood pressure percentiles in pediatric patients ranging from neonates to adolescents. This is achieved by considering key factors such as the gender, height and age of each patient.
✅ One of the outstanding features of this application is its ability to present the results in a visual and understandable way through a traffic light system. Each blood pressure stage (from hypotension to HTA II) is represented by colors: green for normal, orange for elevated, and red for hypertensive states; Additionally, for each stage identified, the app provides specific guidelines for proper management.
✅ The development of the Application is based on the guides "Screening and Management of High Blood Pressure in Children and Adolescents (2017)" and on "Single blood pressure chart for children up to 13 years to improve the recognition of hypertension based on existing normative dated (2020)".
✅ In addition, it generates graphs with clear thresholds to help make fast and accurate diagnoses regarding blood pressure.
